Special Olympics Nevada school programs provide a unique opportunity for Special Education students to participate in sports training and competition within the school environment. Our programs also offer support and volunteer opportunities to the entire student population, promoting community and good health school-wide.

Our School Partnership Program is a remarkable integration of classroom activities and Special Olympics-style sports. Celebrating 10 years together, Special Olympics Nevada and the Clark County School District Adapted Physical Education Department have shared a commitment to creating an all inclusive environment for their disabled and non-disabled students.

The program provides a unique opportunity for Special Education students to participate in sports training and competition within the school environment along with their peers.  The program also offers support and volunteer opportunities to the entire student population, promoting community and good health school-wide.

The Schools Partnership Program offers a minimum of 12 events per academic year, open to all Clark County Schools District elementary and secondary schools.  Schools/Teachers opt-in to the program on a first come, first-served basis for each respective event.

The Schools Partnership Program is completely free to all participants. Equipment, uniforms, training guides and curriculum — we provide it all!
