Originally from Idaho, Sue and her family have been involved in Special Olympics Nevada programs for years. Previously the Local Program Coordinator in Elko, Sue is currently a track and field coach, volunteer extraordinaire and Summer Games Management Team member…how much more could a Special Olympics Mom do? Well, Sue and her daughter, Cari, a long-time athlete, also represented our program at Lobby Day in Washington, D.C. this past March! Still not impressed? How about Sue as a member of the planning team for Bowl for the Gold and “Awards Queen” for competition?
Sue, we love you and can’t thank you enough for all you do to make sure the athletes of Special Olympics Nevada have the best experience possible.
